Meet ENT specialist Dr. P.K.E. Börjesson

Dr. Pontus Börjesson is an ENT specialist who specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the nose and ears. Because every nose and every ear is unique, a personalized treatment plan is key. Together with the patient, he explores their wishes, the possibilities, and the most suitable outcome. He believes it is important to clearly explain what a procedure entails and what is and isn’t possible. The goal is a natural-looking result in which the nose and ears are beautifully balanced with the rest of the face.

Dr. Börjesson completed his medical training and subsequently trained in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at VUmc in Amsterdam, combined with doctoral research. After completing his training as an ENT specialist, he further specialized in plastic and reconstructive facial surgery at institutions including the Diakonessenhuis in Utrecht/Zeist, the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital in Amsterdam, and Bergman Clinics in Bilthoven.

He subsequently passed the examination administered by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the United States. He is certified in plastic and reconstructive facial surgery.

At the Boerhaave Clinic, Dr. Börjesson specializes in ear corrections, earlobe corrections, and rhinoplasty. He also works as an ENT specialist at St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein, Utrecht, and Woerden.
